Terms of Service

Last updated: February 6, 2026

Welcome to WynneWebDesign. By using my website or hiring me for services, you agree to the terms below. I’ve written these in plain language because I believe you should actually understand what you’re agreeing to.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing wynnewebdesign.com or purchasing my services or digital products, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don’t agree with something here, please don’t use the site or my services — and feel free to reach out if you have questions.

Services I Offer

I provide the following services for small businesses:

  • Website Design — Custom websites and landing pages
  • AI Automation Setup — Chatbots, workflows, and business automation
  • Website Maintenance Plans — Monthly care packages to keep your site running smoothly
  • Combined Packages — Web design and AI automation together

Specific terms for each project are outlined in individual proposals or agreements before work begins.

Digital Products

I also sell digital products (guides, templates, checklists) through my website. By purchasing a digital product:

  • You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the product for your own business or personal use
  • You may not resell, redistribute, or share the product with others
  • All sales of digital products are final — because digital files can’t be “returned,” I do not offer refunds on digital downloads. If you have an issue with a product, contact me and I’ll do my best to help
  • Products are provided “as-is” and are for informational/educational purposes

Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date I provide them
  • All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD)
  • The price I quote is the price you pay — no hidden fees, no surprise charges
  • If the scope of a project changes after we’ve agreed on a price, I’ll discuss any cost adjustments with you before doing additional work

Payment Terms

  • Website projects: 50% deposit to begin work, remaining 50% due upon completion (before the site goes live)
  • Maintenance plans: Billed monthly in advance
  • AI automation projects: Payment terms outlined in the project proposal
  • Digital products: Full payment at time of purchase
  • Accepted payment methods: Interac e-Transfer and PayPal

Revisions & Changes

Each project includes a set number of revision rounds (specified in your proposal). I want you to be happy with the final result, so I’ll work with you to get it right. If you need changes beyond the included revisions, I’ll let you know the cost before doing any extra work — no surprises.

Client Responsibilities

To keep projects on track, I need you to:

  • Provide content, images, and feedback in a timely manner
  • Review and approve work at agreed milestones
  • Ensure you have the rights to all content you provide me
  • Make payments according to the agreed schedule

Delays in providing content or feedback may affect project timelines.

Intellectual Property

Once you’ve paid in full:

  • You own your website content, custom designs, and all deliverables I create for you
  • I retain the right to use general code frameworks, templates, and tools I’ve developed (these aren’t unique to your project)
  • Portfolio rights: I may showcase your completed project in my portfolio and on social media, unless you tell me otherwise

If you don’t want your project shown publicly, just let me know — I’ll respect that.

Limitation of Liability

I stand behind my work and want every client to be satisfied. That said:

  • I’m not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my services, website, or digital products
  • My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid me for the specific service or product in question
  • I’m not responsible for third-party services (hosting providers, payment processors, plugins) or their downtime, data practices, or failures

Termination & Cancellation

Either of us can end a project with written notice (email is fine). If a project is cancelled:

  • You pay for all work completed up to the cancellation date
  • Deposits are non-refundable, as they cover initial setup, consultation, and planning time
  • I’ll hand over all completed work and assets that you’ve paid for
  • Maintenance plans can be cancelled at any time — just give me notice before the next billing cycle

Warranty & Disclaimers

  • I build websites to professional standards using current best practices
  • I can’t guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic numbers, or business results — SEO and business success depend on many factors beyond web design
  • Digital products are for informational purposes and results may vary

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms from time to time. If I make significant changes, I’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. By continuing to use my site or services after changes are posted, you accept the updated terms.
