Hi, I'm Don. I spent 25 years working in food manufacturing. I started as a teenager and was full-time by the age of 17. Over those years, I worked my way up from the production floor to senior management — learning that the best results come from doing things the right way, not the fast way.

From the Production Floor to Plant Superintendent

After years on the line, I became a Lead Hand, then worked my way up to Production Supervisor, and eventually Senior Management overseeing sanitation. I spent decades at Weston Bakeries before moving on to serve as Plant Superintendent at J.T. Bakeries, making crackers.

I hated high school — but I loved getting educated after. While working in manufacturing, I earned my AIB Science of Baking diploma, an AIB Food Safety diploma, and completed several leadership training programs. I also helped lead our bakery to HACCP compliance. I never stopped learning, and that's still true today.

Giving Back

Community has always mattered to me. I volunteered with the Optimist Club for 3 years, and spent 8 years with the Family Violence Relocation Program — helping people fleeing domestic abuse find safety and start over.

Helping people isn't just what I do for work. It's who I am.

A New Chapter

After leaving manufacturing for family obligations, I earned a diploma in Police Foundations, with distinction, and got licensed to sell insurance. I was ready for whatever came next.

Then some health challenges came along that took physical labour off the table. But they also gave me something unexpected — the time and motivation to discover a completely new passion.

I picked up a laptop and started teaching myself how to build websites. YouTube became my classroom, and I discovered I had a real passion for it — the same drive that pushed me from the production floor to senior management was now pulling me into web design and technology.

I owe a huge amount of what I've learned to Imran Siddiq at Web Squadron — his tutorials and teaching style helped me go from complete beginner to building real websites for real businesses. Big shoutout to Imran.

I've watched too many good people get taken advantage of by web designers who overcharge and underdeliver. I wanted to offer something different: honest work at fair prices. No upsells. No scare tactics. Just straightforward help getting your business online.
